On the grill this product does the job it is supposed to do. The problems occur when it is removed from the grill and the cooked food is to be removed. Because it closes securely to enable turning it over during cooking, it requires two hands to open, an impossibility unless the chef has special gloves. Pliers and other hand tools were used but not before the contents were shaken and broken during the process. Another design defect was realized when the lid can't be raised to over-center, but is required to be held open while inserting or removing contents. Using pliers in both hands, I held it open while my partner removed the cooked food. If you are cooking alone, this product can be frustrating and even dangerous.
