Full Description: Peterson Real Fyre 18 Inch Live Oak Log Set With Vented Natural Gas G4 Burner - Match Light: If art is an imitation of nature, the Live Oak log set is a masterpiece. An impressive front log, accentuated by a large knot, is coupled with several equally realistic smaller logs. Positioned directly below the logs, a burner brings the logs to life as flames whirl and flow over the contours. Designed to run on Natural Gas, the modestly designed G4 is delightfully effective. Fireplaces are instantly illuminated with bounteous flames that will seem to lazily radiate from the logs. The vented G4 burner provides hour after hour of hypnotic glimmering flames. Set must be lit with a match after the main valve is opened. Add a burner-mounted AV-17 or AV-18 valve if the main valve is not easily accessible. Burner produces 75,000 BTUs.

Check the minimum middle width, depth and height fireplace requirements for your fireplace to see if this gas log set will fit your fireplace. Be sure to only measure the usable floor space of your fireplace. Avoid measuring the space in front of your fireplace meant for cosmetic purposes, like a a brick ledge, glass door or mesh area, or any other decorative area.

G4 Burner: This gas log set comes with a G4 Burner. This base model G4 burner is characterized by a single pipe running from left to right within the burner pan. Gas ports span the entire length of the burner, providing maximum flame coverage. The silica sand spread over the burner (vermiculite for LP applications) and glowing embers atop that add depth to the flame so you get a more realistic flame pattern.

Match Light: The Match Light lighting method is the basic method featuring no pilot valve assembly at all. All you have to do is place your match or lighter in the fireplace near the log burner and turn on the gas with your key valve already installed near your fireplace. Control the flame height by adjusting your key valve.
