Great idea!!
Don't want to wait for your meat to marinate? This is what you need. What used to take 8 hour now takes me less than an hour. You will need to play with it to get it just how you want but, you will be able to cook alot quicker than you could before.

QUICK & EFFECTIVE MEAT MARINATION
This lightweight, inexpensive unit simulates larger, more expensive industrial units quite effectively. I have owned many, and the one major drawback is failure of the air valve in the lid. This makes pulling a vacuum impossible. [...].

I love this thing.
Bottom Line: This machine accomplishes a 2-day+ marinade in 15 to 45 minutes.
For me, flavoring a piece of meat or fish usually entails a marinade. That used to require at least two hours and occasionally two days of leadtime. That's time I don't have these days and it's not an issue. With fish, I'm kitchen to grill in 20-30 minutes and the result is better than anything I could do marinating conventionally. If you can make a good marinade, the food that comes out of this thing will make you a rock star.
