Solid Product

Bad thing - Too big to keep in cabinet, it has to live in the shed. Waaaah. I'll live !

Love it
We use it mainly for frying turkeys. I like that it has 4 legs since it goes camping with us. It seems more stable in my mind. We also use it for crawfish boils and low country boils. We have used it just to boil water when we have run out of bottled water. A 20 gallon propane tank goes a long way.
You do need to be intelligent when you use it, alcohol and this rig are not a good mix. Practice fire safety, make sure children and pets aren't around. I would also recommend welding gloves to protect yourself and no loose clothing.
I would suggest getting a portable oil filter so you can reuse the oil. Mine uses D batteries. Otherwise cheesecloth and funnel do well. If you don't take it over 425F, peanut oil can be used for 4 12lb turkeys.
Have fun using this apparatus. We bought the second one so we can have seafood boils along with our fried turkey.
It's not the most fun thing to clean, you're working with some big pots. Before I switched out my dishwasher I used big long brushes,(ok so they were toilet brushes), they saw the dishwasher before they ever saw the pots! They worked well with a good degreasing dish soap.
Overall, we're very happy with this product. I'm being pressured to buy a couple more.
Beware, good fried turkey brings friends, lots of friends. You might think you won the lottery. I'm seriously considering getting bodyguards.
