I realize that the rear burner would be ideal for a rotisserie. However, what's stopping one from using a rotisserie with the 25 inch model and using the existing three burners?
Was This Helpful?
Great question! Without using an infrared burner, a gas grill won't create enough radiant heat to properly char or cook your food on the rotisserie. You'll also want to place a drip pan on your grill grate when you use a rotisserie, because a large cut of meat means a lot of drippings. A drip pan would further block the heat from the burners, but if you don't use it, the amount of drippings coming from your food could ruin the burners.

When installing the grill, how much clearance is needed behind the grill? When it is opened does it extend back farther than the back edge of the insert, or does it sit flush to it?
Was This Helpful?
Hello. You'll need at least 5 inches of clearance in the back for the lid to open. However, if the kitchen is against a combustible wall, you'll need at least 16 inches of clearance. You'll also need an insulated jacket for your grill if the kitchen is made of combustible materials. Here's the owner's manual for more details on clearance and installation requirements:
